I am honored to be part of a rock star Supply Chain team that is directly responsible for 3M Coronavirus response, getting N95 masks and other urgently needed medical supplies to the right place at the right time. When the seemingly impossible needs to happen, our team makes it happen. It's a rewarding yet humbling experience all at the same time. Stressful, yes, but we focus our time and energy on getting the results the world is counting on. For over 24 years in warehouse operations and logistics management, I have historically helped deliver goods and services with a high level of efficiency, accuracy, quality and safety. I believe maintaining consistency, accountability and appreciation/recognition are vital to long-term personal and company success/growth. I have helped find ways to save money, improve processes and efficiency, and protect inventory. I have recruited employees to build high-caliber teams in every management position I've held. I led initiatives to train/develop employees to be multi-dimensional and cross-functional to better develop their skill sets and also help give my team a deeper and more versatile bench. My enthusiasm and communication skills have carried me far. I lead by example on the job and in life. I empower employees by eliminating or reducing obstacles and providing clear objectives, proper training, and constructive feedback as needed. I have learned that listening can be just as important as delivering information. I believe open communication on the job and in life is the best way to solve problems, maintain and improve relationships, and boost morale. And I never forget to have FUN doing what I do because life is too short to leave that out of the equation!
