With over 20 years of experience in operations across multiple industries, including retail and not-for-profit organisations, I bring a diverse skill set and a results-driven approach to everything I do. I’ve recently successfully completed a range of high-impact projects, such as the demolition of multiple buildings and the redevelopment of the area into a vibrant, green space, providing more room for community activities and creating a welcoming environment for people. In my current role in Aged Care, I’m responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the facility, managing a team, overseeing resident care, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. My role extends into marketing, website design, people and culture, and policy creation across various areas, ensuring that every element of the facility runs like clockwork. As an experienced Operations Manager, I handle everything from managing budgets, overseeing maintenance and housekeeping, to monitoring and improving service quality. I’m committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our older people, constantly developing new procedures to enhance their care and well-being. I’m proud of my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, which have allowed me to thrive under pressure and lead my team through a constantly evolving landscape. With mental health training and a strong focus on supporting multicultural workforces, I’m passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. As an OVA & de-escalation trainer and OH & S representative with up-to-date psychological hazard and stress management training, I ensure my team is well-equipped to handle challenges in a compassionate and effective way. I'm driven by the need to provide high-quality care, stay on top of industry trends, and continuously improve to meet new demands.
