I have worked as a Systems Engineer for Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne in Huntsville, Alabama, located at Marshall Space Flight Center. I originated system requirements changes used to test, check out and verify the Space Shuttle Main Engine is ready for flight. I developed, and implemented Launch requirements used for go/no go criteria through effective collaborations with the engineering community. Also, I functioned as a point of contact for changes to the Interface Control Document (ICD) used to control all interfaces between the Space Shuttle elements. Lead for real time launch and hot-fire test data display, recordings, and distribution including participating in the development, verification, and certification of the system from test through launch. Project Lead for the Space Shuttle Main Engine system checkout requirements review following the Columbia accident. Resulted in definition and implementation of corrective actions to include a new procedure for all checkout requirements to be reviewed prior to flight. Supervisor for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental. This includes annual assessments, training and medical surveillance requirements, facility, and personal safety requirements.
