About Tim Macy

With over 30 years experience working on large, complex projects for major entertainment and sports facilities and events, Mr. Macy is a well rounded and experienced development, marketing, sales and operational executive. He has worked in senior roles for Six Flags, Universal Studios, Delaware North, the Canaveral Port Authority and served as General Manager of Navy Pier. He has led complex teams through the design and development of high-visibility projects, including the $100 million SPACE SHUTTLE ATLANTIS project and the development of Centennial Olympic Park for the 1996 Summer Olympics. He has planned and managed two significant facilities for the Summer Olympic Games; Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, and The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Sydney, Australia. As President of Woodward/Macy & Associates for over 15 years, he has provided marketing and sales services for various industries, entertainment planning/delivery, operational development and marketing services to a wide variety of clients, both domestic and international. Proud recipient of the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal, awarded for "Exceptional Vision, Inspirational Leadership and an Uncommon level of Dedication."
