About Tim Maslen

I am a Mount Royal University graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a major in Marketing. Mount Royal's Marketing program gave me to opportunity to work on several projects for real clients which gave me crucial experience that can be transferred to my professional career. I was able to work with an AJHL hockey team, a company that was on the show 'Dragon's Den,' as well as a sound engineering company that was focused on successfully re-branding their company's image. I have worked in a retail environment for a number of years honing my communication and interpersonal skills. In my current role at Express I am able to use my problem solving skills along with marketing and brand related skills and experiences to help set monthly floor sets to ensure the branding and visual standards of the sales floor are kept to the highest standards possible. During my time at Express I have been apart of the team that won the award for 'Best Monthly Floor-set.' This award was given to the Express location in Canada that displayed the best floor-set judged on best appearance, layout, and attention to detail of the brand and marketing present in the store. I am currently looking for a marketing position in a professional atmosphere where I can use the skills and experiences I have gained through University and previous employment, to help continue growth of my career.
