During my career as a technical writer and business analyst, I have gained a thorough understanding of the methods, principles, processes, systems, and tools used to create and manage business processes and technical documents, spanning a wide range of applications.My specialist areas are energy markets, mining, asset management, IT, and engineering. I am currently working as Senior Business Analyst at Transurban. At Transurban, I have led the development of a technical assurance solution to monitor the quality of services provided by road maintenance service providers, conducted an analysis of management of change processes across the business, and developed a comprehensive set of work instructions for users of the IBM Maximo asset information management system.As technical writer, I have worked on numerous projects involving the development and management of a broad range of document styles, including technical reports, user guides, reference manuals, policies, strategies, standards, specifications, business requirements, procedures, process maps, work instructions, manuals, and technical reports.To effectively deliver these and other projects, I have acquired an extensive set of skills in the use of document authoring (Microsoft Office, Adobe Framemaker, Adobe InDesign, Visio), publishing (Webworks ePublisher, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Zendesk, Intercom), and content management (SharePoint, Jira, Documentum) tools, supported by a working knowledge of HTML, XML, and SQL languages.I have worked in Agile development teams and am skilled at working with subject matter experts to extract and document their knowledge to create accurate, effective, and properly authorised technical documentation.
