Controller with over 10 years of experience in a high-growth and ever changing manufacturing environment. I have planned, organized and coordinated all activities of the general accounting function and ensured all controls are in place. I have prepared, tracked and submitted annual budgets for approval. I have Compared performance with operating plans and standards and then told the story of what’s behind those numbers with clear and precise reports. Until recently, I led the purchase-to-pay process at Kings Hawaiian, Inc. for the accounting team from vision to implementation. This automated, streamlined, and turned a paper intensive environment to an electronic purchase approval routing and payment system that spanned six geographical locations and connected east and west coast operations. This new reality allowed controls to be monitored in real time and provided the tools necessary to fine tune our DPO’s and cash conversion cycle. Previous experience includes accounting finance work with Goglanian Bakeries Inc.(Purchased by Rich Products co.) and financial consulting companies. I spend a lot of time understanding the function, process and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others. I prefer to rollup my sleeves and step into the plant when telling the story behind the data. I have an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and a BA in Accounting from Gonzaga University.
