About Tim McManus

Tim currently serves as a consultant and advisor to government agencies and companies involved in the planning, development and delivery of major infrastructure, urban development and sports projects and capital programs. He has worked with companies to develop growth strategies, enterprise risk management plans, organizational restructuring and adoption of innovation strategies. In October 2023, Tim was inducted into the National Academy of Construction and was recently appointed by the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority as an Industry Expert in their Major Construction Review Unit. He has served as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, and in January, 2020 he was selected to serve on the CEO Advisory Board for EnTech PC in New York City and in August 2019, Tim was appointed by Turner & Townsend, a London headquartered program/project management and commercial management professional services company, to serve as a Member of their America's Board of Directors. Tim is also a member of the Critical Infrastructure Strategic Advisory Board for Parsons Corporation and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University's School of Engineering. Previously, Tim was a Vice President in the Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice for McKinsey & Company, based in Boston. Tim was also a Senior Vice President and Director of Global Program Management for AECOM. In that role, he led the planning, development and implementation of major capital programs for infrastructure globally. Prior to AECOM, Tim was a member of the New England Patriots football team management organization, serving as their Director for the development and implementation of Gillette Stadium and all associated infrastructure. Before that he was the Regional Director of construction consulting for Ernst & Young LLP (EY), and a member of Exxon’s international project management group. He also teaches at Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Engineering, has lectured at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design – Special Programs, MIT and the Harvard Business School and has served as an Industry Advisor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Engineering for the Global Leaders in Construction Management Program, is currently an Instructor at Harvard Graduate School of Design Executive Education Program and has been named as a Lecturer for the U.S. State Department program entitled “Young African Leaders Initiative”.
