About Tim Mehlhoff

My business experience has primarily been in the area of defense contracting within the aerospace industry. I have held contracting positions for various programs with the Boeing Company, including the Department of Defense and the Defense Contract Management Agency. It should be noted all of these positions required "Secret" security classifications. Later, I entered he insurance industry, as an independent insurance broker, helping people achieve financial security and peace of mind. I’m a member of the California Agents & Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP) of Orange County and the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Boeing Leadership Association of California (BLASC). My education background includes a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of Redlands, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Social Science degree from San Jose State University, an Associate of Arts (AA) Paralegal degree from El Camino College,(Torrance, CA) and an Associate of Arts (AA) in Behavioral Science from De Anza Junior College (Cupertino, CA). In addition, I have completed Dale Carnegie training and have been active in Toastmasters. I’m a firm believer of lifelong learning and continue to read business books and trade magazines,attend seminars adding to my knowledge concerning the insurance industry. Although, insurance often times can be confusing, my approach is very simple, to do something or not do something has a price tag. People want what insurance can do, which is to solve a problem and live a better secure life. This is always my goal when meeting new clients. I live with my wife and step daughter in Chino, California and originally from Dayton, Ohio. In my leisure time I enjoy travel, barbecuing, collecting cuff links and participating in the Orange County Mustang Association among other things.
