About Tim Mulley

I've been writing songs since leaving the University of Surrey, Guildford, England where I was the drummer in a band called "Moonmouse", which played progressive rock. We succeeded in reaching the finals of a student competition playing Hammersmith Odeon in April 1975, supporting Steeleye Span when they had their no. 1 Hit "All Around My Hat". My songs are mainly personal and are in a pop, rock style. They are strongly melodic which I feel makes them listenable and hopefully memorable. Although drums were my first love, I've really enjoyed playing keyboards alongside them. I started writing my own music seriously with a musical "Poor Man Francis" in 1984 (see below) and I've just put ten of my songs on an album "Sunflower Girl". I have just started work on a new album in February 2016 and am really looking forward to its completion. It has been a long time coming to this point, but I'm really excited now I'm here!
