About Tim Murray

Background in programming and music. Educated in Computer Science and Psychology. Started out playing piano, then clarinet, finally settled on guitar (due to Kevin Peek and John Williams in Sky). Taught guitar for many years with programming as a hobby. Developed some educational games for the music school and started the swap over to programming. After getting some industry experience, founded GMG with a focus on creating engaging multimedia presentations for web and exhibition spaces. Our work was featured in Singapore and all around Australia, winning awards along the way. Took a sabbatical to study psychology while selling prestige passenger vehicles and starting several companies: TEAMSafety (for quality OH & S documentation provision) and CelebriWines (bringing premium art to wine labels and starting many dinner conversations). These fortuitous endeavours lead to partnerships with some amazingly talented fellow entrepreneurs and the formation of Black Wax Entertainment (our flagship television production company) and A Brush With Stars (our event management company focused on raising funds for children's charities). Spare time revolves around sport climbing (getting out and doing it, judging it at competitions, and participating as a board member on Western Australia's peak sports climbing body).
