I have a great career in the Commercial and Specialty Vehicle Markets as a General Sales Manager for Velocity Truck Centers. I have been responsible for a team of eight commercial truck sales specialist covering the Arizona Market for the past 25-years. We provide Freightliner, Western Star, Crane Carrier and AutoCar Trucks through 4-dealer locations. The sales team is broken down into specific market segments to maximize the impact, product knowledge and support to their respective customers and industries. I oversee their annual business plans, market engagement, product training, industry association involvement and advertising. Teaching and living our organizations culture is a core tenet of my leadership responsibility. Cultivating customer relationships are a top priority so we maintain a keen understanding of their needs so we provide the right options and solutions to help their business prosper. In addition, I oversee a team of 5-Fire Equipment Sales Specialist for our Rosenbauer America Brand of Fire Apparatus. We cover the Southern California, Arizona and Nevada Markets through our network of 10-stores that support the parts, service and warranty of this equipment. Velocity began the Fire Apparatus division in 2011 and we recently achieved National Dealer of the Year Award for 2021. I oversee this very specialized sales team and their business development plans, training, and industry engagement. I work within our organization to assist in growing our Fire Gear and Equipment offering and increasing our service technician training and capacity throughout our network as these Fire Departments grow their apparatus fleets with us. In 2007, Velocity created an RV Division named SporttruckRV to retail Freightliner and Western Star Super-C Rv’s under the Renegade and Newmar Brands. Today, this division has a dedicated group of 8-sales and support staff that provide a high value curated sales experience for our high net worth customers. This business division has repeatedly received outstanding National performance awards by Renegade and by ATC Trailer Company. I oversee the macro aspects of the business with a expert manager in place running the business. The great part about my position is that I get to coach and develop sales professionals who each get to express their talents individualistically, within the framework of our unique businesses and culture. To put it more plainly, to bring out the best in them!
