About Tim Oaks

I enjoy working in a team or on my own, using software to improve work processes. I’m happy when I can help make work easier for people through understanding their needs and making software work for them. I like to see processes humming along and organisations getting real value from their software investments. I am energetic and passionate. I ask questions, seeking to fully understand problems and requirements, and to help implement effective and elegant solutions. While strong technically, and having an eye for detail, I also have an interest in the bigger picture. I have developed the ability to explain technical concepts in everyday language. I have broad experience gained over 20 years in many areas of IT, and in several countries.
