About Tim Oconnor

With over 25 years of experience in consultative sales for water treatment and specialty chemicals, I am dedicated to providing sustainable, value-added solutions that lower a client's total cost of operation. I currently serve as a Strategic Account Manager at Draslovka Mining Process Solutions, overseeing our sodium cyanide reagent business in the United States and Canada. My primary goal in this role is to deliver sustainable solutions for mining clients, contributing to a greener future while reducing their All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC). Before joining Draslovka, I held various positions, progressing from Application Engineer to Corporate Sales Manager at Fortune 500 companies. These roles gave me valuable consultative sales experience in providing specialty chemicals, water treatment, and capital solutions to clients across multiple industries, including pulp and paper, refining, ethanol, food and beverage, HI & I, pool & spa, steel, power, pharmaceutical, chemical, and automotive. I am passionate about my work and always eager to learn more. I welcome the chance to connect with others interested in discussing water treatment and specialty chemicals, and you'll never have to twist my arm to talk a little hockey.
