About Tim Ohara
Working with Queen's University, St. Lawrence College and the City of Kingston to build Innovative technologies to address the gaps in healthcare delivery for rural areas. Providing transportation for people who require more than a taxi and less than complex patient transfer, and supporting older adults in the place they call home and assisting clients, caregivers/teams and facilities with coordinating safe, consistent and engaging care with an emphasis on client-focused transportation, accompaniments and technology. Our technology will reward older adults for conducting activities of daily living and give them a desirable social connection to the digital world, while facilitating remote monitoring and contact with care teams. Since older adults early in the care journey are often very resistant to accepting help, we feel it is very important to give them something desirable to use. Our goal is to satisfy their desires, needs, and the needs of the institutions/care teams.
