Part II Architectural Assistant - Project teams experience: Stages 0-3 for 700-bed student accommodation project in Bedminster Bristol, stages 4-5 Jurys Inn 200-bed hotel, Bristol and part 3 case study completed in 06/2020. 2015-2017: BDP_Bristol. Part II Architectural Assistant - Assisting project architects predominantly on two large 50m + Healthcare schemes for NHS Frimley Trust. Stages 0-3 2014-2015: HASSELL_Cardiff. Part II Architectural Assistant - Assisting project architect on 40 storey residential tower at Providence Wharf, London. RIBA work stage 4 August 2013 - Feb 2014.'George Made That' and 'Build Is Everything' in London. Focus on making bold physical installations alongside a focused approach to design and build with sustainable materials. This included working with 'Camden Collective' for London Design Festival week (14 - 22 Sept 2013) to transform a small shop space at 69 Camden High St into a pop-up architecture shop and bar.'Collective 159' was a follow up to shop-refit collaboration project with Camden Collective. Much larger in scale, the client's brief required an indoor marketplace for local artists for a 6-month residency. BiE's design utilised a simple palette of stripping back the shop space to reveal the buildings structural materials complemented by bespoke timber shelving & custom furniture including concrete topped timber display plinths. 2011-2013 - Professional Diploma in Architecture from the Centre of Alternative Technology (CAT) based in Machynlleth, Mid-Wales. The post-graduate course was heavily focused on sustainable design identifying a strong focus on environmental and material aspects within architecture.
