About Tim Partridge

I've had a varied career in the utilities industry, working for a large blue chip multinational and then two of the Big6 suppliers; working my way up from meter reading to energy trading, and most roles in between. It’s a fantastic industry but very confusing if you work outside of it – there’s just so much going on all the time – that’s why I’ve moved to an independent broker to advise, inform and help other businesses with what I’ve learned. I’m now enjoying learning about all the different types of businesses I can help; one day a national bank the next a distillery! I’m most interested in analysing and forecasting the energy markets, understanding the economic and political factors that drive UK energy costs, getting the best rates for business energy users, negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers. My advice is impartial, I’ve contributed to global energy publications, I’m very active on LinkedIn with free information and I just like educating people – that could be the dad of three in me! I also contribute a free daily energy report that could be useful to you or your business.
