Tim Pendrell is a dynamic policy aide and Committee Clerk for the Nebraska Retirement Systems Committee in the Nebraska Legislature. He actively shapes Nebraska's policies, leveraging his expertise in economic and workforce development, emergency communications, and NextGen technologies. Before his current role, Tim managed substantial funds as a Grant Administrator at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, ensuring strict adherence to both federal and state grant requirements. His leadership skills and understanding of community development were further honed through executive and developmental roles at the Nebraska City Chamber of Commerce, Coney Island USA, and a year of national service as an Americorps/VISTA member with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. In the recent legislative session, Pendrell played a key role in advancing statewide connectivity, improving emergency communications, and ensuring the successful passage of Nebraska's legislative package to support the federal CHIPS for America Act. His efforts have significantly contributed to Nebraska's economic growth and technological future. Pendrell holds a Master's in Urban Planning with a specialization in Economic Development and Housing Policy from New York University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
