About Tim Peterson

With more than 30 years of experience in leadership training and development, I have been on the Strategic Planning / Leadership team of a non-profit, as an Executive Business Coach and Advisor as well as a Regional Sales Manager. I have worked closely with individuals and teams, developing training platforms to increase recruiting, retention, and production. I was in Pastoral ministry for 16 years in Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska. This unique experience helped me fine-tune my gift for offering counsel, confidentiality and consultation to individuals on both personal and professional issues and challenges. I have heard it said "there are two significant days in each of our lives: the day we were born and the day we discovered why." I truly feel my “why” incorporates helping and leading others to discover their why and how to maximize their pursuit of purpose as they navigate through life. I hold a degree from RHEMA Bible Training College in Pastoral Ministry, and currently have the CLTC (Certified in Long-Term Care) designation from my time in financial services. With my passion for running, I also am a Certified Level 1 Coach from Road Runners Club of America. I have been married to my wife, Chris, since 1986 and have 3 sons, two who are graduates of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and one who is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University. As a health and fitness enthusiast, I took up running in 2012 and have ran multiple half marathons and 14 full marathons to date. Each year, since 2014, I have raised money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and currently I am a volunteer for St. Jude as a St. Jude Hero Regional and National Ambassador. I continue to be an inspiration to others to get fit and live healthy. I enjoy golfing with my sons and traveling with my wife. The whole family bleeds Husker Red and we enjoy attending Nebraska Cornhusker football games in the fall each year.
