About Tim Potters

After graduating High School I wasn't sure what to and decided i would take a job to think about my future. This would be my first real job and i worked my way up to assistant manager at Van Baal Textiles. I used my money to go backpacking in New Zealand and my time to think about where to go with my life. After 3 years I found something that I was passionate about: Japan and so I decided to study the language and try and make a life for myself there. During my time as a student i found that I really enjoyed helping my fellow classmates and decided to try and focus on a career in teaching. Luckily i succeeded in this as a managed to get an internship at an English school during my study abroad in Japan. They also introduced me to another company where i could work as an ALT in public schools. While this was a great experience and i had a great time teaching many different kinds of people I wanted something more. I was always interested in technology like computers, phones and gadgets and wanted to try and do something with this professionally which is why i decided to go into IT. I haven't been doing this for a long time yet but I am enjoying immersing myself in this new world that has so many different directions to go in and explore that i don't think i will ever want do something else again. There is always something new to learn that I am looking forward to the challenges of the future. Currently interested in any remote position with powershell, power automate, power bi, system administration.
