Strategic, systems-thinker HR leader with more than 25 years HR experience in various-sized profit and non-profit organizations focused on effectively impacting an organization’s strategic outcomes. I see the primary purpose of HR as helping to create value through the human capital of an organization."Culture devours strategy"(Peter Drucker) and if the culture is not aligned with the strategy, regardless of how impressive the strategy is, the culture will win out. I believe my role as an HR leader is to influence leaders and organizations to create strategic systems and processes that effectively align the culture to acquire, develop and retain talent that is aligned with the business strategy of the organization. I believe the “currency of influence” in today’s workplace is trust built through relationships. I’ve been effective with building trust through relationships at all levels of the organization. I’ve learned to effectively navigate and influence organizational cultures towards a more collaborative culture of trust, bringing order out of relational and organizational chaos in order to better align the culture with the organizational strategy.
