About Tim Roscoe

I combine my passion for the arts and social movement theory to build connections that build communities. My work is informed by an award-winning academic and professional background in foreign affairs and international communication, which enables me to understand and influence the dynamics of human agency, connectivity, and mobilization across cultures and contexts. I have successfully guided staff and board members of various arts and education organizations through the stages of establishing and enhancing their fundraising departments, focusing on major gifts and planned giving. I have also closed over $1.4 million in gifts for the University of Virginia, exceeding my first-year solicitation goal by five times. As a SAG-AFTRA / AEA actor, I have the ability to absorb, interpret, and convey new material to diverse audiences under tight deadlines and changing environments. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges that allow me to contribute to the causes and missions that I care about.
