Certified Nurse Practitioner (Recent Graduate) and Registered Nurse licensed in Vermont. Former Triage Nurse at a busy family practice providing both telephone and in-person triage. Additionally, assisted with minor procedures, administered vaccines, managed anticoagulation, and provided patient education to patients with a variety of complex medical needs. Previously Nurse Director at an ambulatory surgery center specializing in interventional pain management procedures. Worked closely with managing partners to guide the organization through certification process. Also experienced in caring for critically ill patients with a variety of conditions. Adept at various nursing skills including, but not limited to: medication administration (including intravenous inotropes, insulin, and heparin), administration of parenteral and enteral nutrition, physical assessment, cardiac monitoring, care of ventilator dependent patients, and interpretation of laboratory data and diagnostic studies.
