About Tim Spinner

I started my career as a refinery APC Engineer implementing new DMCplus applications and maintaining existing ones, also doing control loop configuration and tuning using Honeywell Experion DCS and create inferentials for real-time estimation of unmeasured compositions and product qualities. My Ph.D. thesis was titled "Performance Assessment of Multivariate Systems".and my research work focused on algorithm design and implementation for optimization, automatic control, parameter estimation, fault detection, and performance assessment, for which I rely upon strong programming abilities. I also enjoy modeling of dynamic systems. My experience writing code has led me to approach engineering problems in a clear and efficient manner. • My research work has been focused on advanced process control, system identification, and performance assessment, along with statistical and first-principles modeling. • I often depended on tools from the fields of pattern recognition and computational learning. • My knowledge of the Matlab/Simulink environment may impress you, and I have additional proficiency in C, Labview, Aspen Plus, Aspen Dynamics, Mathcad, and Comsol. In a recent project, we employed C++, Python, and Arduino for control of mobile robots over a network. I am a self-motivated worker who thrives in team-work oriented settings
