Tim Stanford is a real estate executive with broad experience in all aspects of real estate brokerage. Tim was recently recognized by The Ohio Realtors as having closed the most transactions in Ohio from July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022 of its members. In 2023, Tim Stanford was appointed to the Ohio Home Inspector Board as a part of Ohio's Department of Commerce and its Division of Real Estate. Tim’s Specialties include Commercial real estate and development, school site assemblage, strategic planning, organizational consultation, project development, investment, court appointed real estate consultant and expert witness & 1031 tax-deferred transactions. A Realtor since 1986 and a broker since 1993. Tim sold his brokerage to Superior Credit Union in 2016. Tim Served as managing broker for Superior Plus Realtors through 2020. Tim has been a very active member of the West Central Association of REALTORS. Tim served 12 two-year Director terms from 1994-2021, served as VP in 1996 & 2004, and as President in 1988, 2006 and 2007. Tim was the WCAR's Realtor of the year in 2019 & 2021. Tim is a Past President of the Lima Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lima Symphony Orchestra. He has served on the board of directors for several foundations, including the Lima Library, Lima Symphony, Lima Central Catholic High School, and the West Central Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Tim was the founding President of New Lima.Housing for the Future (Lima's Community Housing Development Organization) and a past Housing Consortium President. Tim is a member of the Central and Executive Committees of the County Republican Party. Tim has served on the Board of Elections. Tim served on the Real Estate Committee for the Diocese of Toledo. Tim is Ohio Realtors State Political Coordinator for Ohio Senate President Matt Huffman. For Matt Huffman's 4 House of Representative campaigns, Tim was his Treasurer. Tim is on the Ohio Realtors Executive Committee and is its District 2 VP. He also is on the State Legislative Steering, Enlarged Legislative and Professional Development committees, and is Vice Chair of the Forms Committee. Tim has been a public speaker on form-based code as an alternative to use-based zoning codes. Since 2020, Tim serves on the City of Lima's Housing Task Force on its Policy and Implementation Subcommittee. This subcommittee analyzes best practices, focusing on housing affordability, building mixed-income communities, and measures for anti-displacement.
