About Tim Stone

As a Competence Engineer at Cymer, I optimize and verify the proper operation of deep ultraviolet (DUV) light sources for photolithography machines, which are essential for semiconductor manufacturing. I leverage my skills in maintenance, assembly, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Cymer's products and services. Before joining Cymer, I served as a mechanical supervisor at the US Navy for over 10 years. I managed personnel and repaired equipment onboard a submarine. Also, I tested alloys and determined weldability of critical infrastructure on naval ships while on assignment at Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC). I completed Nuclear Power School, where I gained valuable knowledge in nuclear engineering technology and operations. One day, I wish to fulfill my personal goals to become a Material and Heat Transfer Scientist. While I was attending high school, I began my leadership journey during my involvement with Air Force Junior ROTC. Here, I learned how to lead teams or groups of people to achieve a common goal.
