About Tim Strittmatter

I am a results oriented food safety and quality assurance professional who enjoys helping people achieve their personal and professional goals. My 21 year career began as a FSQA Supervisor on night shift with Tyson Foods in 2004 in Lexington, Ne. Over the next 16 years, I worked in multiple Beef and Pork Complex plants in various FSQA roles including HACCP Supervisor, FSQA Supervisor, and FSQA Manager. I have held various roles at the corporate level with Tyson Foods including Senior Regional Regulatory Manager, Senior Regional Spec and Labeling Manager, and FSQA Director (Beef). For the following 3 years, I was the Vice President of FSQA at Clemens Food Group with oversight of food safety and quality for 4 plants that were a mix of pork harvest / processing and value added (bacon / sausage), as well as RTE. I was also responsible for the two onsite labs and sanitation (in house and 3rd party). In April of 2023, I started with Schweid and Sons and I was responsible for two plants that produced food service / national accounts (loaf, patty, IQF), as well as retail ground beef patties. My most recent experience was with Thomas Foods International USA, where I had direct FSQA responsibility for the processing, warehouse, and import containers. I also had oversight of the 3rd party sanitation contractor. I have volunteered many times for Habitat for Humanity and was on the Board for 2 Business Resource Groups. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Penn State University in 2003.
