About Tim Sweet

Over my career I have brought a technical and professional approach to every position I have elected to accept. These traits along with great organizational and people skills have allowed me to move from programmer to software development project manager to Assistant Director of IT (Application Development) to Director of Information Technology at my previous position. These experiences have span a vast array of business types and structures, from Medical to Department of Defense to Retail and has provide me with an invaluable set of skills that allows me to understand, from top to bottom, how an IT organization fits into most any corporate structure. My beginning experiences as a programmer and professional growth has provided me with in depth understanding of every aspect of application development and infrastructure growth. In my most recent experiences I’ve had the pleasure to manage a large and diverse staff from experienced programmers and database administrated to junior programmers and new to project management managers. I’ve taken the lead on existing experienced programming teams and I’ve build an entire Information Technology team, to include programming, systems administration, network administration and project management personnel, from the ground up. I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to manage large scale and numerous projects from application and web development, using a variety of methods (Agile, Scrum, etc.) to enterprise wide (state wide) network restructuring. This included all contractual, outsourcing, budgeting and personnel acquisition and may other aspects of IT management. I’ve combined these experiences with my “plan to succeed” attitude and strong work ethic and desire to obtain significant and positives results.
