About Tim Takeuchi

My objective as an engineering leader/supply chain professional is building, cultivating and delivering state of the technologies and robust supply chains. I provide technical expertise, program leadership and perspective to exceed expectations, and drive challenging technical and cost agendas. I aspire to do more with less, take informed risks early and learning from them, and winning with integrity. These are the foundations upon which my career has been built. Over 25 years experience in project management, product development, NPI transfer and production ramp of advanced micro-electronic packages and testers, I have successfully led innumerous technology and product developments from inception to production. I am data driven, using and advocating model based problem solving, statistical methods, data analytics and visualization to both enhance efficiencies and ensure rapid decision making. I have also program managed teams using SCRUM methods, and implemented LEAN principles in my role as a process quality leader, and team manager. I am versed in supply chain principles, and a certified supply chain professional (CSCP) familiar with all aspects of supply chain needs. My experience spans S & OP, supply chain engineering and supplier development, and working with both internal and outsourced device manufacturers. I have breadth of knowledge in many areas of the micro-electronic industry, including packaging layout design, PCB design and manufacturing methods, integrated heat sinks, thermal interface materials, test sockets and handler solutions. I am a burn-in expert, and familiar with ATE methods and hardware offerings. I enjoy continuing to learn, adapt and being agile.
