About Tim Tizzano

I have worked over 35 years in food related venues with a wide range of experiences, beginning as a young entrepreneur, to the present as an educator, trainer and consultant. While my background has been primarily in management, my passion and natural calling has been in training. My focus has been not only on teaching the principles and standards of the job, but how to use the job and the workplace for personal and professional growth. I have weaved this same approach into my public speaking, and leadership seminars. I draw from real world experiences that inspire others in making positive changes in their lives. Prior to my listed work history, I managed restaurants for over 14 years from casual to fine dining. Related experience spanning over a 21 year period includes retail Natural Foods, wholesale, production and manufacturing management. I have extensive experience in all aspects of catering, and have been a personal whole foods chef cooking for over a dozen clients, as well as lead a plethora of vegetarian and vegan cooking classes, instruction, and have recipes published in a national cookbook. I designed and taught multiple levels of “Professional Table Service” training. Unrelated to food, I am also a trained professional floral designer. Specialties: Providing direction and guidance in two areas I am most passionate about; assisting others in making more informed decisions on how to reach a more optimal level of health. The other is lead individuals and groups in breaking down barriers that divide teams and overcome self-limiting obstacles that keep one from reaching their highest potential.
