About Tim Twa

I have been working at teck coal for the past 10 years. At teck I work on mobile equipment including mining shovels, haul trucks, and drills. I had previously worked for Allied projects for 7 years. I have worked in their commercial, civil, and service department. For 3 years I had been working as a foreman running jobs or doing small projects alone. I had also competed in the trade skills competitions. I received a gold metal for Alberta's skills competition in 2009 and 2010. I had also received a bronze metal in Canada's 2009 national skills competition and in 2010 I qualified at the national event to compete in the world skills competition. I had received a medallion of excellence in London England in 2011 for the world skills competition. I have worked at Skookumchuck pulp mill for their annual maintenance shutdown. Most of my experience is in commercial/industrial work. I have worked on ups systems at the hospitals, I have experience with EMT, rigid conduit, and teck. I have worked with numerous back up generator systems dealing with both controls and main feed hook up and transfer switches. My industrial experience has consisted with working on lift stations, sanitary treatment plants, and working at a pulp mill and on mining equipment.
