Corporate Trust and Custody professional with proven global leadership and managerial skills across diverse trust products and client segments. Currently managing Huntington Bank's Institutional Custody Team as well as Corporate Trust. Over twenty years corporate trust experience with money center financial institutions. BNY Mellon experience includes Managing Director for the US Financial Institutions Group and the Global Transaction Management Group. After starting my career as an attorney and acquiring an MBA, I transitioned to a corporate trust management role. The opportunity to lead and manage people is what attracted me to pursue a business career. Leading people is the most rewarding part of my work, providing not only the satisfaction of developing talent and building high performing teams, but also the opportunity to materially impact an employee’s quality of life. I believe successful leaders optimize talent by challenging employees to perform at their highest level, while ensuring diversity and inclusion. A favorite leadership experience was creating a Global Transaction Management Group. TMG's mandate was to reduce new business on-boarding risk, while improving the client experience. Effectuating this mandate, while dealing with global differences in legal standards, culture and business practices, proved challenging.
