With a PhD in Chemistry and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, I am a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience as a Project and Portfolio Manager in both the United States and Germany. I stand out as a collaborative leader, adept at steering cross-functional, intercultural, and international project teams across Germany, Spain, Japan, the USA, China, and Mexico within the specialty-chemistry and biotech industries. My focus has consistently been on spearheading innovation and change management, along with the technical transfer of processes. My 4.5 years of professional immersion in the US (Louisville, Kentucky) have not only fostered my international project management expertise but also underscored my adaptability and global operational capabilities. I possess a robust mix of in-depth chemical knowledge, with a specialization in homogeneous catalysis from my doctoral research, coupled with a solid technical foundation established through my career in Process Technology at Clariant. I have been in multiple product sites and know how products are made in commercial scale using different product technology. In addition, I also worked as a R&D Laboratory Manager experiencing first hand how processes are design and developed in lab-scale. With this combination, I am well-aware of the challenges of scale-up and able to guide teams through the process.
