About Tim Watson

As a school district leader, I have spent the past 5 years developing and delivering innovative learning solutions that are evidence-based, student-centered, and data-driven. I am an articulate communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels. I am also tech-savvy, a first-class problem solver, and a people leader who cultivates engaged teams and steers staff members toward professional development. My experience has been enriched by leading district-wide educational initiatives, optimizing resource allocation by planning, budgeting, and tracking direct spending of all federal grant programs worth one to two million dollars, and promoting collaboration among educators, administrators, and other stakeholders. I have also strengthened students’ language development and fluency by designing and developing a structured reading framework and curriculum aligned with the district’s goals and objectives. My passion for developing targeted interventions to help students catch up with the current curriculum post-COVID-19 has upheld quality education. I have increased positive interactions among students and teachers by conducting comprehensive academic, social-emotional, and behavioral evaluations and presenting psychoeducational reports to the district team. Additionally, I have contributed to teacher performance by creating a professional development plan for the school district, which outlines training needs and provides staff with advancement and growth opportunities. I am passionate about my work and enjoy collaborating with teams to achieve goals. My ability to navigate ambiguity, respond to change, and identify opportunities has allowed me to be effective in my role. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my expertise and experience to any team that values a data-driven, evidence-based, and student-centered approach to learning and development.
