Some Key Accomplishments • Futureproofed process to support the installation of Fibre Broadband (FTTH) to Auckland • Changed processes in AT to reduce the ‘footprint’ of Chorus UFB work on the Auckland Road network by 40% while simultaneously improving efficiency enabling Chorus to hit its KPIs for first time in 6 years. • Administration of the $325 Million Broadband Investment Fund for the Ministry of Economic Development, processed 5 times the expected number of applications on time and under budget. • Regional Manager supporting the TV digital switchover migration addressing the individuals who were ‘left behind’ reducing this by introducing new ways of working with the third sector. • Proposed, drove and implemented eLearning across Dell Europe Middle East and Africa, Saving several Million pounds per year in training costs and lost working hours. • Developed the $1.5 Billion ultra-fast broadband policy, and the rural broadband initiative for the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development. • Developed and ran the Remote Area Broadband Inclusion Trial (RABBIT) – creating a new interpretation of European state aid regulations as they applied to the sector, distributing over £3 Million, broke all targets by 200% and had lowest overheads and fastest response time of any similar project.
