About Tim Wheat

Thirteen years experience and training in Process Improvement and Quality Assurance related to auditing, leading Process Improvement projects, and performing documentation tasks. As a Certified SrumMaster (CSM) and my knowledge of the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) through the Agile Framework, I monitor and audit all activities for the entire release cycle. I engage cross-functional groups to provide support and information when needed. Past experience has broadened my knowledge in capturing metrics and performing analysis related to removing defects from escapes from each of the SDLC phases, ensuring all tasks are complete for Change Requests and Enhancements which provides a quantitative approach to project management. Past experience has also broadened my knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Model. Experience includes preparing projects for Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) appraisals, coaching team members for SCAMPI interviews, and providing evidence for Practice Implementation Indicator Descriptions (PIID) in Excel spreadsheets. I use a variety of tools to perform my duties and also to provide support. These include JIRA, Tableau, and the Microsoft product suite.
