I have been involved in transportation for 25 years. I have worked in general labor, driven tractor trailers and worked in the front office including my position as President of a United Van Lines Agency. I was given the opportunity to join the most innovative transportation company, FedEx, where I have been able to focus my years of experience on the customer’s business problems. My team and I work to understand business issues and find ways to improve inventory turns, days sales outstanding and reduce order-to-delivery cycle times. We have the assets of a $43 Bil company at our disposal to help our clients operate leaner and greener in today’s fast paced economy. Given today's current financial crisis, FedEx is responding with solutions to reduce warehouse overhead expense and moving finished products directly to stores or to the end customer. This is the time when Business needs the flexibility that we can deliver, making my job both interesting and rewarding. Specialties: As a Manager of a $120 Mil sales territory, my duties include sourcing, selecting, developing and managing a team of high-end Sales Professionals. We work directly with customers to refine and improve their logistics processes as it pertains to their entire supply chain. FedEx is one of the very few integrated carriers that provide transportation services to and from the entire free world. We have the capacity and the flexibility to make supply chain modifications overnight.
