Background

About Tim Wiersma

Innovation, management, sustainability: these are my passions. I am driven by my ambition to innovate companies, their products and processes. Innovation means many different things to many different people. Thanks to my background, I know how to formulate innovation on a strategic level and how to effectively apply it on the operational level. I enjoy performing optimizations on the innovation process in creative ways and to lead innovation projects. As a (project) leader I ensure an open atmosphere in which everyone can speak up and ask questions. My hope is to inspire and build up others, enable intrapreneurship, and collaboratively make the most of the innovation process. Former executives often describe me as a person who is focused on quality, value and results, someone who dares to ask critical questions respectfully and shows perseverance, but also someone who can work independently. Colleagues often describe me as a pleasant coworker and someone to have good conversations with over lunch, as well as a strong communicator that responds clearly and quickly and offers support where necessary. I don't shy away from working on challenges and embrace them as opportunities. So let's innovate together for a better tomorrow!
