A seasoned professional executive, educator and public speaker, Mr. Wilken is best known for quadrupling sales for one tech startup bringing it to number one in its category internationally then doubling sales for a second tech startup making it number two. Mr. Wilken earned a Master of Music Degree from the acclaimed DePaul University School of Music where he was the top student in Vocal Pedagogy. In addition, he is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Norbert College with majors in Music Performance and Music Education and certifications to teach Instrumental Music, Choral Music, General Music and Psychology. Mr. Wilken is a winner of the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs Vocal Competition and a card-carrying member of American, MENSA, Ltd. Performance credits in The Merry Widow, The Italian Girl in Algiers, La Boheme, Trouble in Tahiti and Transformations have given Mr. Wilken the opportunity to work with directors such a Phil Kraus, Harry Silverstein and Rhonda Cundy, and coaches such as Linda Hirt, Kit Bridges and Elaine Moss. He has also been coached by Metropolitan Opera Star Jane Bunnell. Also an avid instrumental performer, Mr. Wilken has performed with ensembles such as the UW Green Bay Jazz Camp Faculty Jazz Band, Heritage Hill State Park Symphonic Winds, Retail Print Music Dealers Association Band, DePaul Chamber Brass, DePaul Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Workshop, and with performers such as the Woody Herman Band and Bobby Shew.
