About Tim Wright

As a Guards Manager I lead a team of around 38 Train Managers at Worcester Depot for GWR along with managing their operational competence. Duties include operational assessments (for which I hold a 6317 Assessor qualification), out-of-hours on call, operational and HR investigations, and general improvements to the depot. Having worked an 18 month secondment as a Guards and Dispatch Operations Trainer I also have experience delivering training to a group as well as being accredited a Level 3 award in adult education and training. I bring with me experience as a Train Manager based at both Worcester and Gloucester depots as well as on-board Customer Host. Before my time on the railway I worked as Cabin Crew for over 7 and a half years based out of London Gatwick Airport operating long and short haul flights for three different airlines. During this time I was made Senior Cabin Crew (Purser) in charge of safety and cabin services onboard each flight. Hobbies include music, aviation, French culture, old Citroen cars, vintage bicycles, palm trees, rivers and unusual means of getting from A to B.
