About Timmy Ta

My longest work experience was as a manager at my local Coldstone Creamery, and more recently, as an office coordinator at a dental office. Both experiences, I was able to develop my customer service, management, and workplace productivity skills. Currently, I am working part-time as a teaching assistant for EE140 at SJSU. My main responsibilities include hosting weekly workshops to help students better understand electromagnetic concepts and their applications for quizzes and homework. At the moment, I am working with a group of peers to develop an autonomous surveillance drone as a solution to reduce residential and commercial crime. My main responsibilities for the project included: the design and implementation of the electronic speed controllers and firmware for the camera system. My personal favorite project was designing a macro keyboard with a Raspberry Pi Pico 2040. This macro keyboard design used 12 switches and 2 rotary, each were programmed to input unique functions.
