About Timo Tekoniemi

I am a professional in research and education who is enthusiastic about new collaboration opportunities. In my work, I've combined the methodologies of various fields such as the text-historical study of the Bible, Assyriology, film and fan studies, and cultural animal studies. Thus, interdisciplinarity is close to my heart, and I believe that the best future prospects in both research and society are found through it. I believe that comprehensive understanding of any subject is best achieved by approaching matters as diversified and open-mindedly as possible. I am especially eager to learn more about art, literature, and different languages – they do not only enrich my personal life but provide a broader context and a deeper understanding of the world.
