About Timothy Barta

I have achieved a minor in Business alongside my English major at the University of Kansas. During my youth I have worked a large number of community service hours due to a high school service project and a great number of Boy Scout service projects. Skills: Promotions, writing (primarily poetry,) copy editing, small group communication, stage performances (poetry,) security for concerts, set up and take down of stage equipment, event planning, phone communication, one-on-one communication, 3D art (using Maya), XHTML, CSS I have studied Spanish for four years (one of which at the college Junior level.) I have taken a semester of Japanese, and in high school, a semester of Latin. I have a great deal of interest in travel, language, and culture. I have performed on stage five times for poetry readings: three times as part of general poetry performances on campus, twice by special invitation for slam poets The Dynamic Duo and Gabriela Garcia Medina.
