I graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with an Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I strongly believe my learning background, current, and previous work experiences will be an important asset. In the course of my education, I have attained skills in patient evaluation and gained a firm foundation in providing holistic care that focuses on all facets of a person’s wellbeing: emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychosocial. In addition, my experience as a home health nurse, correctional nurse, nursing supervisor, and addictions nurse has given me the self-assurance I require to care for patients and the aptitude to work together with other healthcare professionals. I am passionate about nursing and I understand that serious patient care requires a rock-hard foundation in nursing skills, methods, prioritization of concern, and communication skills. These skills, coupled with my work ethic, staying power, and ability to adapt, are what I offer as a registered nurse. I am a highly organized and motivated individual who is adept with Microsoft office, Meditech, Pyxis, Omnicell and other technologies.
