About Timothy Becker

Dedicated company manager and systems engineer with over a decade of experience in the aircraft and manufacturing industries. I am seeking a new career at a company where my knowledge and skills can be beneficial as a project or functional manager. I started my journey as a CAD modeler creating assembly drawings and instructions. As I completed projects, my hands on skills were put to use working on prototype aircraft and parts manufacturing. My technical knowledge and understanding of the aircraft increased allowing me to take over purchasing. I developed strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. I continuously improved our designs and manufacturing processes to optimize costs and increase quality. This frequently led to me designing and building specialized tooling and fixtures. I also traveled to, set up, and exhibited our company products at national airshows. As a salesman, I managed sales agreements for customers, scheduled facility tours, arranged demo flights, and coordinated the sale and delivery of aircraft and components. After many years working in the shop and in the office, I became company manager. I answered to the owner and was put in charge of all employees and operations. I developed a strong servant leader style of management. My working knowledge of the aircraft also put me in the position to manage customer support. I communicated and solved technical problems with our customers around the world. My experience extends beyond aircraft to all manufacturing. Recently, I designed, built, tested, and brought to market an electric vehicle.
