Knowledge of Federal Financial Management: Timothy Carlson is a senior federal financial and asset management professional with 21 years of experience within the DoD, PFPA, DON, DISA, and Army. Timothy has gained knowledge of audit readiness, being a liaison to the stakeholders, financial and asset management systems, financial reporting, as well as federal policies as a part of his work experiences described below. Timothy is also familiar with DoD audit readiness support, strategic and diplomatic communication with stakeholders, organizational structure, business processes improvement, and federal environments. • Familiarity with Federal Information Systems: As a team lead, I made myself familiar with federal information systems by performing internal control testing, reconciliations, and financial and asset management systems administration utilizing Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Asset Management System (AMS), iNTIS, and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) within federal agencies such as DoD, PFPA, DON, DISA, and Army • Familiarity with Federal Policies and Compliance, and Procedures: Timothy has an extensive knowledge of policies, compliance, and regulations within federal environments such as FIAR guidance/methodology, DoD OIG, OMB circulars, USSGL, financial systems, and business processes through his support at multiple federal agencies including DOD, PFPA, DON, DISA and Army.
