About Timothy Chartier

I possess a broad technical background with 23 years of experience in the technical fields, 18 of which have been in an Engineering environment. I have worked from Installation / Field Engineer in the medical industry, to Senior Engineering Technician to Hardware Engineer. I have both “hands on” and design experience. I also have been part of an Engineering team, meeting tight schedules to create new designs. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, and graduated with honors. My work history includes installing and repairing MRI scanners for hospital accounts, supporting Engineers in a lab environment, hardware design, component engineering, documentation control, PLM and MRP management, and processing ECOs. My responsibilities have included PCB layout, creating PCB footprints, troubleshooting circuitry to the component level, using various test equipment, schematic entry using Orcad, and soldering of electronic componentry. I am excellent at working with others and enjoy contributing to a team effort. I have exceptional interpersonal skills and excel at supporting other technical disciplines. I am considered to be a hardworking, detail orientated, and conscientious individual. I am recognized by my energetic attitude and dedication to quality work.
