About Timothy Donnan

SMSgt Timothy I. Donnan serves as the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Program Manager at Headquarters United States Air Force, Directorate of the Air Force Civil Engineers, located in the Pentagon, Washington D.C. He collaborates with Headquarters Air Force representatives and MAJCOM Function Managers to address issues related to the EOD specialty and aligns the career field with civil engineer policies, ensuring adaptability to the Air Force's current and prospective needs. SMSgt Donnan is responsible for developing, updating, and distributing Air Force and career field policies and program requirements. He also assists the EOD career field manager with the EOD training portfolio and senior enlisted assignment priority planning. In addition, he addresses vital strategic and operational matters, such as Department of Defense and Air Force Policies, Instructions, and Doctrine for over 1,900 total force Airmen. SMSgt Donnan entered the Wisconsin Air National Guard (ANG) in 2006 and graduated from Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Eglin Air Force Base, FL, in 2008. During this time, he fulfilled multiple manning-assist requests to Nellis Air Force Base, NV, where he worked in the EOD Logistics Section. In 2013, Tim transitioned from the ANG to Active Duty. Before arriving at Headquarters Air Force, he held numerous leadership roles at the flight level, including Team Leader, Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge, Section Chief, and Manager. His leadership roles, coupled with his deployments in direct support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Operations Juniper Shield, instill confidence in his ability to manage EOD operations effectively.
