About Timothy Hogan

Experienced, student centered, data driven instructor who focuses on building relationships as the foundation for facilitating academic success for a diverse group of students. For the past 7 years I have had the honor of working in a STEM focused high school classroom focusing on personal finance, economics, and civic literacy. On a daily basis I create rigorous lesson plans which are applicable to learners at various academic levels in a traditional classroom setting, small groups, and 1 on 1 settings, I facilitate learning to ensure academic success for all students. All curriculum materials have been designed to effectively function for in person learning, hybrid, and remote settings. Any success within the classroom are directly attributed to a committed focus on building relationships based on trust and accountability with students and staff members. Additional transferable experience includes mentoring, coaching, service learning, curriculum design, hospitality industry employment, event management, and commercial/residential construction management. I am currently extremely pleased and happy with my present employment, however as a husband and father of two school aged children I owe it to my family to be open to the possibility of career advancement. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to project management, personal finance, human resources, corporate training, lending, and real estate. Any prospective employers would need to provide a work culture with a strong commitment to mentoring to ensure a successful transition.
