About Timothy Jackson

I've been working in the community and within Chicago Public Schools (CPS) as employee and a contractor for nearly 20 yrs. I'm proud of the work that I've done. I have provided direct services to Black and Hispanic young men as a mentor and youth counselor on the south and west sides of Chicago. I had trained schools in social emotional learning and restorative justice practices. Over the last 5 years, I have trained students future social workers within City Colleges of Chicago. Now, I'm looking to collaborate with leaders that want to address issues of systemic racism and to repair the harm on Black communities. The wealth gap has been cemented through redlining. Change can through greenlining, which is about investing in previously redlined communities. I've spent too much time trying to encourage Black brothers to do better instead of holding government to the fire on their claims to do better. As a Real Estate "Change" Agent and entrepreneur, I aim to help hundreds of families enjoy the privileges of home ownership while helping others enjoy the proceeds from the sale of real estate. I aim to advance the Greenlining Movement by building a team of Real Estate "Change" Agents, by implementing restorative justice practices in the real estate industry for reparations, and increasing diversity in the industry.
